Store preview: checkout is not open. The inquiry form does not place an order, reserve wood or take payment. These policies describe our intended custom-order process.
1. Our custom pieces
Typhoon Wood Design creates made-to-order wood lighting and furniture in Türkiye for customers in the United States. Available dimensions and prices are shown on each product page. Each size option may have a different USD price; “From” indicates the lowest listed option.
Natural wood varies in grain, color and outline. Gallery images are design references, not a promise of an identical slab. Our product photographs may use illustrative room backgrounds. The actual wood and agreed dimensions are confirmed separately.
2. Approval before production
Once checkout is available, the process is: select your dimensions, complete payment, then review photographs and measurements of the actual wood proposed for your order. Production starts only after your explicit approval.
If you do not approve the proposed wood and we cannot agree on an alternative before production begins, you receive a full refund. See our Refund & Replacement Policy.
3. No shipment without final photo approval
We will not ship any product unless photographs of the finished product have been sent to you and you have explicitly approved it for shipment.
This is a separate approval from the initial wood selection. We retain your written confirmation, such as an email or message, with the order. No response, the passage of time, or approval of the raw wood does not count as approval of the finished product.
If you do not approve the finished piece, shipment remains on hold while we discuss your concerns and the appropriate resolution. Photo approval does not waive your rights concerning shipping damage, an incorrect product or other applicable consumer rights.
4. Production and shipping
Estimated production is approximately 7 days after wood approval. After final product approval and dispatch, estimated transit is 2 days via FedEx or TNT. Shipping from Türkiye to the USA is included in the product price. Transit is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date.
The expected shipment date and delivery details will be confirmed for your order. If we cannot meet an agreed shipment date, we will notify you, explain the revised timing and provide any required option to accept the delay or cancel for a refund. We do not treat silence as permission to ship.
Any applicable taxes or import charges and who is responsible for them must be disclosed before payment. “Shipping included” does not by itself mean that all taxes or import charges are included.
5. Changes, cancellations and problems
Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel an order. Changes after production begins depend on the work already completed and must be agreed in writing. Our Refund & Replacement Policy explains the confirmed pre-production refund and damaged or incorrect product replacement process. Nothing in these terms removes rights required by applicable law.
